Hotlooks Salon — Kansanga

Hotlooks Salon in Kansanga came to us for a full fit-out — the kind where almost every surface in the shop changes between the first site visit and the day the doors open.

We started overhead, rebuilding the ceiling in gypsum boards and finishing it cleanly so the lighting layout could sit flush — the tiered ceiling with warm cove lighting you see in the finished shots is what came out of that work.

From the ceiling we moved to the floor and walls: complete interior tiling and exterior finishing to give the shop one consistent, clean surface front to back. Behind the existing roller shutters we installed glass doors, so the salon reads as a proper styled storefront during the day instead of a closed metal face.

Then came the fit-out itself — lights, salon machines and CCTV cameras installed exactly to the client's spec, alongside the bespoke joinery she specifically asked for: curvy wooden mirror frames, matching drawers, and a wooden half-wall feature that ties the styling stations to the back of the shop. The before-shot of the bare tiled floor and the finished interior with warm lighting are the same room.
